CIRM - The Certification In Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) program builds the management team that will transform the organization into a value-driven enterprise. The employees will acquire management skills necessary in a global marketplace. They will analyze the process in converting a market concept from innovation into implementation and customer acceptance. The CIRM certification focuses on five (5) key modules for approximately 150 hours of training. Below are the concepts and areas covered as defined by APICS, the association that sponsors this Certification.

Enterprise Concepts and Fundamentals (ECF):
Gain a greater understanding of the strategy and role of the value-driven enterprise, its integrated organizational functions, and the four basic support areas of quality, human resources, finance and accounting, and information systems.

Identifying and Creating Demand (I&CD):
Learn the strategies and tactics that identify, define, and quantify customer wants and needs, and translate those into requirements for value-added products and services to be delivered by your organization. Discover how to integrate marketing and sales, increase customer demand, and improve field service, market research, competitive analysis, pricing, and supplier relationships.

Designing Products and Processes (DPP):
Discover how to convert a market need or innovation into a product, process, or service that meets the expectations of both the enterprise and the customer. Explore the conceptual design process, from identifying need through defining requirements, design creation, development, design testing, and eventual concept implementation.

Delivering Products and Services (DPS):
Learn how to integrate an enterprise's systems, approaches, and strategies to make the transition from concept to product and from customer expectation to product delivery. Understand the integrated planning and control of supply chain resources and business processes - including producers, distributors, and customers - that are required to deliver products and services to customers.

Integrated Enterprise Management (IEM):
Follow the relationships and interactions of functional groups working toward a common goal. Explore business strategies, aids in assessing strategic decisions, management practices, and effects of new technologies to gain a greater understanding of the importance of the team perspective in today's organization.

CIRM candidates can lead their organizations to greater operational efficiency, rapid adaptation to changing marketing conditions, and enhanced customer satisfaction. This will lead to

To obtain the CIRM designation, candidates must pass all five (5) exams. There are no educational nor experience requirements.
