Patrick
S. Woods, CPIM - Founder
Our CEO, co-founder, and lead-instructor of
Supply Chain Education, Inc. has spent the
past 9 years in professional development,
and over 17 years in Supply Chain and Materials
Management. His clients span major industries
and geographies, from the U.S. Postal Service,
to Boeing Aerospace, to Pertamina, the Indonesian
Government owned oil and gas entity.
He has been in the employ of such major corporations
as, Intergraph, Emerson Electric and EDS and
has held positions from "in the trenches"
Expeditor/Buyer to Supply Chain Manager, including
the leadership of international, cross-functional
teams in strategic procurement. Pat is also
an adjunct professor at the University of
North Texas, specializing in transportation
and logistics.
In addition to his contribution to their on-campus
degree programs, he has worked with both UNT's
marketing and management schools to develop
consulting and training alliances with major
Dallas-Ft. Worth corporations. He is a graduate
of the University of Alabama with a BSBA in
Industrial Management.
Pat is also a Certified in Production and
Inventory Management (CPIM) through APICS.
He is a national trainer for the organization
and is recognized by APICS as a "Qualified
Instructor."
